Position Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT Director Business Relationship Manager - Mergers and Acquisition to drive value by informing executive decision making, developing partnerships, and evolving culture to satisfy and elevate Labcorp's mission through technology. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional Senior Business, Operations, and IT leadership to drive strategic initiatives and provide technology solutions that align with the Mergers and Acquisitions objectives of our company.

Essential Job Duties

In this role, you will have 3 major focus areas:

  • Lead Strategic Planning for Enterprise M&A Pipeline
  • Manage DxTech Portfolio
  • Build and Nurture Relationships across the enterprise


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, executive management, and cross-functional teams to understand M&A strategies, objectives, and requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison and trusted advisor between the IT department and business units engaged in M&A activities.
  • Represents IT with the deal team and facilitates the exchange of information between Labcorp and M&A target.
  • Direct multiple M&A opportunities simultaneously.
  • Facilitate the appropriate transition to the appropriate integration project manager.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality.
  • Maintain and track M&A roadmap activities in flight.
  • Proactively identify IT opportunities and propose innovative solutions to support merger and acquisition integration efforts, ensuring seamless transitions and maximizing synergies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders with the assessment, evaluation, and recommendation of technology platforms and solutions that are consistent with the M&A strategy of the organization.
  • Collaborate and collect information during the due diligence process, including the evaluation of potential acquisition targets IT infrastructure, systems, and processes.
  • Define and prioritize IT initiatives, projects, and resource allocation for M&A success.
  • During M&A activities, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards.
  • Monitor the progress, risks, and issues associated with M&A projects and report on them to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Enhance formal processes for repetitive activities, such as project scoping and budgeting for M&A integration, as well as regular KPI reporting.
  • Maintain awareness of M&A-related industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Advanced degrees in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline are preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of M&A processes, including due diligence, integration planning, and post-merger integration.
  • Familiarity with IT systems, infrastructure, and processes, including enterprise applications, networks, data centers, and security, in the context of M&A activities.
  • 5+ years’ experience in IT with a specific focus on supporting mergers and acquisitions, BRM experience preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering innovative and pragmatic solutions.
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in a global or multinational organization is preferred.

Pay Range: $132,254-$175,000 Annually

Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
